Funeral services for Earline Jeansonne Lambert will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Internment will follow in the St. Alphonsus Mausoleum under the direction of Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie. Mrs. Lambert, age 67, of Bunkie passed away in her home on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010. She was a retired school bus driver for the Avoyelles Parish School System. Survivors iclude her husband, Roger Lambert of Bunkie; two sons, Alfred Lambert of Bunkie and Troy Lambert; two daughters, Peggy Gauthier of Bunkie and Sandy Gauthier of Bunkie; two brothers, Wintis Jeansonne, Jr. of Bunkie and Lawrence Jeansoone of Bunkie; four sisters, Alice Ducote of Bunkie, Annabelle Blanchard of Evergreen, Bernelle Rabalais of Plaucheville and Cynthia Gremillion of Moreauville; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Melancon Funeral Home, Bunkie from 4:30 pm -10 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 and 7:30 am until on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010.
