       I was pleasantly surprised this afternoon to open my e-mail and find the e-mail message from you down home in Bunkie. As you can see the e-mail address you have for me is correct and working.

       My name is James Menard Christian, and I left Bunkie in 1966 to attend Howard University after graduating from the then Carver High School.  After finishing Howard, I attended and graduated from the Harvard Law School and settled in Washington D. C. in 1974, where I am now living with my family, wife, Alexis Scott Christian and two children, James Menard Christian, Jr, Jamexis Denise Christian.  My current address in Washington is 4315 Blagden Avenue, N. W. Washington, D. C. 20011.

       Good to hear from home.  I have visited the Bunkie web site and have it as one of the "favorites" on my computer.  Thanks to you for maintaining a very interesting web site.
