Our First Spotlight Belongs To The Military...

Todd Riche, a 1990 graduate of Bunkie High School, was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel on August 31. 

He is currently serving at Eglin Air Force Base near Ft. Walton Beach and is assigned to the Air Armament Center.  Lt Col Riche is the Director of Operations for the Squadron responsible for developing the Air Force and Navy's next version of the Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile. 

Joining him at the promotion ceremony were his wife Christi and son Cole, as well as his parents, Pete and Denise Riche.

I am from Bunkie  but live in Berwick Louisiana my parents are Mike and Lois Gonzales , they still live in Bunkie.
This is my son Jonathan Mark Fontenot, he is leaving for Iraq in about two months he is 20 years old . He just got married Dec22,2007 so he has not been married long . He is in Virginia right now in training so lets just say he is already gone from home .

Virginia Clark Beridon

The Marine on the left is my son (Justin Clark Beridon).  He was in the first wave of Marines that chased Saddam Hussein in Iraq. 
This is a picture
that was in the Washington Post.  He is standing outside of one of Saddam's palaces in Tikrit. He came home safe and sound and graduated from LSU in 2006.
